Brazil is one of the luckiest country to be selected to host the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The selection covered all the main regions of Brazil and results in a tournament which will require plenty of long-distance travel for teams. The South American country is the fifth biggest in the world by geographical size.
Because of the massive size of Brazil, FIFA agreed to have 12 host cities instead of the usual 10.
Here are the 10 cities that will host the World Cup 2014 are: Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Cuiabá, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo.

Not one of these stadium have been built and none have even started construction - most have not even got financing lined up - it looks to be a big embarressment for Brazil if they can't get their act together. Three years after winning the World Cup, virtually nothing has been done to ready the country for the games.
