here's a story for you from a middle age woman who loved fast cars and Choppers in her youth.

I was dating a man for a while when I was in my early 20's. He had been driving and collecting Corvettes since the first one came out.

Never ever had he let any woman drive any of them. Not even his ex-wives. But, I was sorta' hot back then and he was in love.

So when he went away for a weekend to do some gambling in Vegas he left his 1980 brand new Vet with me.

Wow I had a ball all weekend. Until driving home very late, after the hot spot in Dallas of the time closed, a bright orange Camaro pilled up along side of me.

We were on a road that was a shortcut through a very large apartment complex. The road was very curvy and the speed limit 35mph. He revved up a few times and off we went.

Just as we hit a straight away I pushed the peddle to the metal and she was full out. I was moving up very quickly and taking the lead when he intentionally swerved into me just enough to barely hit me.

Instinct said Holy Moly this guy is going to hit run me off the road and as he got closer, I got spooked.

I though it would be better to take the curb than to allow him to slam me. But, I wasn't familiar with a Corvette's suspension.

I rolled 5 times end over end and then I don't know how many times I rolled sideways down a hill, took out 1 telephone pole, and a few small trees.

I survived with only minor bruises. But, the guy's Corvette was demolished. No wheels, no wind shield, frame twisted beyond almost beyond belief....you get the picture? I completely demolished this poor guys Vet. The very first female in his life that drove one of his Vets and I killed it.

LOL...he called me a week later after buying another new one and wanted me to drive it. I said are you joking or out of your mind? That was my one and only experience with a Corvette.

Obviously I cannot be trusted with something that has that much power....because I love to go fast.

Happy driving!:-)

I love the car design. Although, it kind of reminds me of batman's. Love the sparky and sharp-looking headlights and alloy wheels as well. Anyway, does kool vue manufactures such towing mirror?
