US president-elect, Barack Obama named Time Magazine's Person of the Year 2008, which was announced on Wednesday on Today show by magazine's managing editor, Rick Stengel. The new president-elect which was by most predictions as the likeliest candidate for the Time's yearly honor. He was chosen by the magazine for having the confidence to sketch an ambitious American future in a gloomy hour and for showing the competence that makes Americans hopeful he might pull it off.
