RICICLA (recycle) + ANTICA (ancient): Gabriele Centazzo of Valcucine has created kitchen cabinets that both disappear and last forever.
The RICICLANTICA door is ultra-thin and modern, a mere 2 mm, stronger, yet using 86% less material than standard cabinet doors—a masterful amalgam of opposites. The doors are totally flush—no handles or screw holes—with a self-closing mechanism. The entire kitchen can be pulled apart and recycled after use.
Riciclantica doors come in several eco-conscious materials: carbon fiber (specially woven and sealed for a smooth finish with the textured look of fabric); steel; or high-pressure laminate (HPL) finished with non-toxic water-based varnishes.
The new Valcucine carbon fibre aesthetic panel for the Riciclantica programme doors is a hi-tech material with special resistance, sturdiness and lightness features, having an elegantly light workmanship that perfectly suits the anodised aluminium profiles of the frame.
