F1 designer Dominik Scheurer created the world’s first carbon fibre chessboard, the same lightweight materials used to construct F1 cars. The chessboard is the first innovation from Scheurer’s new project entitled “Carbon Luxury”.

The board features 100% carbon fiber with epoxy resin, cured under high pressure much like of an F1 car component, and gilded in 24 carat gold and silver for the finishing touch.

The Carbon Luxury Chessboard set comes complete with a signed certificate to cement its exclusivity limited to 101 boards only, priced at 12,000 Swiss Francs.
