Swiss luxury watchmaker OMEGA, opened its US flapship boutique on New York's Fifth Avenue. In addition to being the first Omega boutique in New York, the store will have its own exclusive product offerings.

One such exclusive product is the new limited edition of the Platinum Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11 Moonwatch in honor of the 40th anniversry of Neil Armstrong's landing on the moon. The orginial OMEGA watch worn by the late JFK will also be exclusively displayed. Additionally this new store will also have in its collection ALL the OMEGA watches currently in production.

Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps joined Omega CEO Stephen Urquhart for the official opening of NYC location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. To mark this momentous occasion, Phelps signed and donated his personal Omega Planet Ocean watch to be displayed at the store. Phelps then spent time disassembling an Omega watch with the store's team of watchmakers.
