I was told by a Russian friend that this is an armored body over a Mecedes G5
Can somebody tell me if that is true

No actually I have on one of the website that one guys from Russia Made this Jeep on his own in his garage, all designs and armor... etc., although he is using engine from chevroet 6.1L...Ofcourse if u interested in buying a car like that u can order with different engine like the Mercedes using turbo diesel..

If that will just be a facet of the car, it would just be redundant and therefore, waste of money. I also do think that it's a different engine with of course sets of parts from other car makes like distributor gear and stuff.
