Lexus L-finesse - crystallised wind -Acrylic model of LF-A

This illuminated acrylic Lexus, on display at the Salone del Mobile design fair in Milan, is an artist's impression of the LF-A concept car and part of an exhibition called L-Finesse: Crystallised Wind ("L-Finesse" being the car company's design philosophy).

L-finesse" based on the concept of two twin law, the "wind-crystallized (crystallized wind)" by the concept of heightened Lexus The dynamism, expressed as art.

The motor show is curated by renowned Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, who says: "The term 'wind' addresses not only the flow of wind, but also symbolizes a flow or current in a greater sense. It is a new horizon where the natural and the artificial co-exist in space."

The real car is made out of carbon fiber and other composites, what will be seen in Milan will mostly be acrylic. But the appearance of this artwork does give us new hope for an LF-A for the streets.

In the press release from Lexus, it does mention the 500+ hp 5.0-liter V10 engine (as well of a top speed around 200 mph). This is good news because it suggests that Lexus is once again serious about giving the public its long-awaited supercar.

First time I saw such a crystallized concept car. It looks like the one used in simulations. I think this will look like a transparent one. I hope I can see this model in the future.
