Barack Barack Obama Cadillac Presidential Limousine

General Motors has revealed the custom armored Cadillac presidential limousine that Barack Obama will use during the inauguration and as president. Unlike other presidential limo models it does not have an official model name, but by some accounts, it's called "The Beast."

"Although many of the vehicles' security enhancements cannot be discussed, it is safe to say that this car's security and coded communications systems make it the most technologically advanced protection vehicle in the world," said Nicholas Trotta, assistant director for the Office of Protective Operations. The new Cadillac model of the presidential limousine was made by General Motors Corp.

The vehicle includes heavy armor that is reportedly at least 5 inches thick bulletproof glass, run-flat tires, ultra high strength ceramic armor, system fire on board, and a completely sealed interior to ward off a chemical attack, the paper reported. It also has electronic communications equipment. One tech item they are talking about are the LED spotlights that’ll illuminate the fender-mounted flags at night.

I never thought about the windows not rolling down. It makes sense I guess... I hope they never get anything gross stuck in the airconditioning system. That would be a drag.

I bet they really did all that they can to make the car really safe for the President. That should include all necessary safety features like being bullet proof and the like. Perhaps the wheels also have the wheel spoiler trim to protect the wheels even more.
