Bulgari Resort in Bali - A pristine Private Beach

The Bulgari Resort in Bali is located near the village of Pecatu and the stunning clifftop site of the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple. Uniquely positioned at more than 150 metres above the sea shore, the resort offers unrivalled views across the Indian Ocean. Nestled between the cliff and the ocean, a 1.5 kilometer long beach is accessible only through the resort’s inclined elevator.

Designed by architects Antonio Citterio and Partners, the 59-villa resort reflects a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Balinese design while conveying the distinctive Bulgari Italian style.

The hotel has been built and furnished using hand-cut volcanic stones, rich exotic woods and refined fabrics. Natural lava and palimanan stone are used for the garden and interior walls, refined bangkiray hardwood in the villas, natural green colored subakumi stone to clad outdoor showers, plunge and swimming pools. A collection of exquisite Balinese antiques and exotic art pieces, including more tha 90 examples, adorn the entire resort.



BULGARI VILLA The 1,300-sq.metre Bulgari Villa features three bedrooms, a large living area with built-in bar, an oversized dining room, a home theatre and full service quarters with a state-of-the-art kitchen. A 20m lap pool surrounded by an extensive terrace and an outdoor meditation pavilion complete its unique layout.


BVLGARI RESTAURANT Overlooking a reflection pool, the resort’s signature Italian restaurant, Il Ristorante, pays homage to classical Italian specialties in a seductive ambience enhanced by the softly candle-lit lanterns. Open only for dinner, the 36-seat restaurant features an impressive 10 m tall ceiling stunningly lit with traditional bamboo caged lamps.


SPA The entry pavilion leads to the hand-carved teak wood Joglo House, transported from the Northeastern Central Javanese city of Kudus. Further inside is the open-air relaxation lounge, the yoga pavilion and the swimming pool. Six fully equipped treatment rooms and 2 royal pavilions with outdoor gardens, rain showers and plunge pools complete the layout. The Spa facilities include a beauty salon and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
